Welcome to Mythvale! We're excited to have you join our community. To ensure everyone has the best experience possible, we ask that you carefully read and follow the rules outlined below. Use common sense, respect your fellow players, and remember: quality roleplay always comes first. Our goal here in Mythvale is to create a fun, exciting and immersive roleplay environment for everyone.
To be a member of Mythvale RP, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Own a working microphone with clear audio quality.
- Be fluent in spoken English.
- Have prior experience with roleplay.
All interactions on our FiveM server and associated Discord must adhere to:

Zero Tolerance
We have a Zero Tolerance Policy on any abusive or toxic behaviour within or towards members of our community.
Therefore any of the following actions will result in a permanent ban from the community:
• Toxic or fire-starting behaviour such as speaking unjustifiably derogatory of other community members either public or in private spaces.
• Spreading negativity, undermining public morale or over-exaggerating situations to purposefully upset community members. •No mean girl roleplay.
• Hate speech such as hateful content, words or actions which show intolerance of others, including but not limited to religion, sexual orientation, gender or disabilities.
• Harassing, stalking or creeping on other community members.
• No Ai usage in the server or discord.
• Server rules are subject to change at any given point of time.
Furthermore, we do not welcome any sexual offenders, known misogynists or exposed bigots.
Be Respectful and Mindful
When participating within the community it’s important to remain considerate of all other community members:
• If you’re questioning if you can do something or not, chances are you shouldn’t.
• Remain thoughtful of dialogue with characters and always remember that we are creating a world outside of the real world, one we all live in.
Twitch and the Server
While playing on our server you have to adhere to the Twitch TOS and Community Guidelines:
• All music being played on the server must be DMCA-friendly.
Stream Sniping
Stream Sniping (watching a stream to gain an in-game advantage OR to locate other players) is prohibited:
• Do not be in any stream other than your own while you are active on the server! • Being present in a stream while on the server can be considered evidence of Stream Sniping and/or Metagaming!
Discord TOS & Rules
While interacting within our community Discord you have to adhere to the Discord TOS and Community Guidelines:

• Always use appropriate channels for chatting and posting content.
• Messaging Staff is only acceptable if the issue is severe in nature or if the staff member encourages it in their name or bio.
General Rules
Hey Guys, for our general rules we want to keep them clear and open for you all. When it comes to being creative in the city you have that right. Please by all means have fun, and if you are unsure if it is allowed please open a ticket in your respective areas and just ask.
IMMERSION
This is a Roleplay Server, we expect everyone to be in character at all times. If someone does break character or break a rule during a scene, continue to roleplay out the scenario and submit a player report ticket after if needed, do not break character or inform the player they are breaking a rule while in character.
STAFF PLAYERS
Do not go up to a staff member in city and ask for something. Create a ticket and be patient. Staff members are players too and should be treated as such. Your character doesn’t know what staff members are. We expect everyone to be providing quality roleplay to one another, if someone offers roleplay to you, we expect you to offer roleplay back. We understand some scenes or situations can be frustrating, but we do not want to see anyone saying things like “That’s Fail RP”, “That was RDM” etc, this also includes using more roleplay relating terms such as “Nice Romeo Pasta”.
Character Rules
Metagaming
using OOC info your character shouldn't know is prohibited. Examples:
• You hear in a Discord call that your friend's gang is getting raided. You immediately log into the server and drive over to help, even though your character has no IC way of knowing it was happening. • Discussing things that happened without your character's presence OOC on Discord and then acting on them/discussing them in RP (without learning about them in RP first) • Watching a stream showing hidden stashes and going there IC without proper discovery.
Random Deathmatch (RDM)
You must have clear roleplay reasoning before harming another character. This includes on-foot and vehicle interactions. Examples:
• You witness an armed robbery between two strangers and, trying to be a hero, immediately attack the shooter without RP build up. (RDM)
• You’re on foot and see a gang member you don’t like.
Without any words, threats, or build up, you attack and kill them. (RDM +
Initiation)
Vehicular Deathmatch (VDM)
Please once again you must have clear roleplay reasoning before harming another character. VDM: Using a vehicle as a weapon against another player.
- Driving your vehicle through Legion Square attempting to run over as many people as possible.
Powergaming
You cannot force outcomes on others or abuse mechanics to block RP. Examples:
Forcing lasting injury without player consent: /me cuts off your hand.
You place a scene that says “Door is locked, impossible to open or break” – Do NOT expect anyone to honour this in RP.
The same applies to surveillance camera scenes and props.
No Value of Life
Your character should value survival and act accordingly. Jumping off buildings, joking gunfights, baiting monsters, or chasing danger recklessly = NVL.
• Someone has a gun to your head and demands you put your hands up. You refuse or fight back when you have no leverage. (NVL)
• Getting shot and immediately acting like nothing happened, talking normally, not roleplaying your injuries (NVL)
If you are:

Initiation of Hostilities
Before engaging in hostile actions, you must initiate conflict through RP.
Example:
• Party 1: “Don’t move or I’ll shoot!”
• Party 2: “Don't hurt me!” raises hands
Or:
• Party 2 (if leverage allows): "You just made your last mistake!" pulls gun → Hostilities commence
Roleplay Rules
• Do not copy another player’s character concept.
• No vulgar, offensive, or Twitch-breaking character names.
• Characters must be 18+ years old.
• No copyrighted characters or close imitations (e.g. roleplaying a famous person that exists IRL)
• No Character bleed.
Voice Changers
Allowed only if not immersion breaking.:
• If your voice mod sounds artificial, robotic, or disruptive, you may be told to remove it.
• Text or Mute RP is not permitted. This is a Voice RP server. If you can't use VOIP, you can't play.
Prohibited Roleplay Topics
The following are strictly forbidden:
• Suicide, self-harm.
• Telling someone in a serious fashion to unalive themselves. (i.e. You should put a gun in your mouth and pull the trigger, Go k*ll yourself, etc.) • Erotic RP.
• Slavery or human trafficking.
• Playing a racist, sexist, or hate group character.
• Rape, sexual assault.
• Re-enacting real-world tragedies (e.g., Covid-19, 9/11).
Prohibited In Game Trading
The following are strictly forbidden:
- Selling vehicle coupons, you may gift them to people via ticket.
- You may not sell your imports for in game currency.
- You may not sell your import weapons for in game currency
- You CAN however open a ticket to trade import for import or weapon for weapon.
Staying In-Character (IC)
• Remain in-character at all times.
• If someone else breaks character, pivot and keep RP going. Report it later.
• Do not use OOC terms like "third eye" or "G muscle" in-character. Find creative ways to express game mechanics.
Do not refer to admins as “Gods”, reports as “prayers”, etc.
"OOC" is actually for when you have questions or something of importance to address. Example.
- For asking consent
- For clarifications
- Addressing technical issues.
Mechanic Rules
Exploiting and Glitching
• Report all bugs/glitches immediately.
• Do not exploit bugs (e.g., glitching through walls, loot cycling).
• Any gains from exploits will be wiped; punishments will follow.
• No crimes, robberies, or competitive activities 15 minutes before or after a scheduled server restart.
External Communications
• No using external communications (Discord, TeamSpeak, etc.) to coordinate active RP while in-server.
Allowed:
• Aligning schedules to RP together.
• Pre-planning business or organizational RP (not scenarios).
• Sharing realistic IC files/documents.
• Businesses, gangs, and groups can use external servers for out-of-game community building and admin-approved planning only.
NLR (New Life Rule)
If revived:
- You forget the last 30 minutes.
- No potions.
- No memory spells.
- No bypass.
(Vampires may recall hazy fragments.)
Returning to Combat
After:
Receiving medical
Winning an engagement
You must:

Lay low for 1 hour
No re-engagement
No hospital camping.
No ego laps. (LQRP will get you a 24)
Powers Have Consequences
Roleplay:
Fatigue
Strain
Injury
You are not invincible. You can become weak from overusing your abilities and it could be a drain on your physical health. Same with spell casting, your mental and physical strength would feel diminished.
Power “combos”
You should be able to use your abilities logically. Which means no spamming of powers/spells while fighting others. You must let the current action finish and allow your enemy the chance to get up.

No speech. (The only group who can is Kitsune’s and for brief durations. If you are caught abusing this you will face consequences.)

Social Media
Birdy
Gangs: If you are starting conflict and going to war/scene you can use Birdy to shit talk, but once the scene is over cease the fighting on the app.
Photos can be used against you in the court of the law.
Photo Spamming: Love the pic, BUT if you spam the timeline with the same photo over and over again you will be warned.
Nude/Topless Photos: There is a difference between boudoir shoots and straight nudes on the app. Keep it cute, keep it tasteful and please no nips or genital flashing in photos.
PERMA DEATH

…can decide on a perma.
Once perma’d:
The character is gone permanently.
Supernatural characters require a 2-week wait before recreating. Whitelist species you MUST reapply again! Good Luck.

- Staff Discretion Clause
- Staff reserve the right to interpret and enforce rules in the spirit of maintaining story quality and community safety.
- Pattern Behavior Clause
- Repeated borderline behavior will be treated as intentional rule breaking.
- Intent Ignorance Clause
- Claiming ignorance of rules does not exempt you from consequences.
