Lauren is Loyal, Determined, and Brash. 

She typically solves problems physically and doesn't waste too much time planning things out. She refuses to accept leadership positions regardless of how many times she finds herself in those same positions. 

She cares strongly for those she considers family, and that loyalty can get her into problems.

Shaggy black hair, typically shoulder length but sometimes she takes some clippers and changes it up.

Fairly tanned skin from all the time she spends in the sun, and her Portuguese heritage.

Very muscular and balanced build.

Born in the year 2000, Lauren Grew up on a track on a dirt track with her father, living inside a renovated out trailer stuck in the inner track. Lauren was forced to get used to the world she lived in quickly when she was young. Hell, the only way she could watch movies was on an old PlayStation 3 that looked worse then it sounded. Her father couldn’t afford a full pit crew, so once she was about 15 she had to start picking up the slack. working late on his car, lifting things she had no business lifting, which would later turn out to be something she’d be very thankful for. Everything she needed to learn about life, she learned on that track. and that same track would be the last place she ever saw her father.

Lauren’s dad died in the last race of the 2018 season. His rear right fender was tapped and his tire blew. Causing the entire vehicles rear end to break loose. he tried to correct and pull to the left off the track but he overcorrected, and the vehicle went sideways before it lifted off the ground. Lauren ran onto the active track before any of the marshals could even realize what was happening. But their was nothing she could do but watch as the car tore itself apart, as every other racer blew right by. She was left with his teachings, his car, a banged up 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner (Bravado Vulture) and no road to follow. She was lost, and decided that she’d try and do something with the life her father gave her. So she decided to head into the big city and go to school to become an LSPD Officer. After spending two years on the force she met her partner Elena Shaw. They got along quite quickly, becoming good partners both on and off the force.

Eventually sometime in 2024 Lauren and Elena had grown very close, almost inseparable. But nothing good ever lasts. Roughly a week later, during a nightshift, Elena and Lauren were on a basic call before they heard over radio about a street race in progress. Since they already had their interceptor unit out they responded. Elena got to the driver seat first, so Lauren rode shotgun. They tried to get to the call as fast and as safely as possible in hopes of catching a suspect that would help with their investigation. However, due to not great radio communication, When Elena made the right hand turn to join the chase/race, one of the fleeing vehicles was going straight towards them. The interceptor clipped the side of a modified Sultan RS causing the vehicle to spin and hit a semi truck, causing the entire front end of the police vehicle to buckle and bend as the vehicle flipped, landing on it's roof. Lauren and Elena were both knocked unconscious. After a few minutes Lauren came to, seeing the gas, oil, and whatever other fluids leaking into puddles beneath the wreck. She got herself loose of her harness, kicking the door open and escaping the wreck. She took a moment to try and regain her bearings, weakly calling it in on her radio before turning to grab Elena from the wreck but once she turned to pull Elena out. boom. The interceptor exploded, a spark hit the puddle of gas and oil and ignited the gas tank and the NOS bottle she had installed, launching her backwards as her partner was engulfed in flame. She was knocked out, the last thing she could see was the burning flipped cruiser, before she went fully unconscious

The paramedics said Elena would have died on impact, but Lauren knows she heard Elena shouting her name.

Lauren was forced to take a break from field work, disguised as a “temporary leave” that wasn’t so temporary. She used the police equipment she was still in possession of and her own built up vehicles to go after the street racer that had killed Elena herself. She had documents, known associates, even the shipments of suspected parts they were running under their hood. She wanted vengeance.
